Blue!

Hello!  I have recently grown an addiction to Ande Monster's store on etsy.com.  Their vintage pieces are sold at a low price along with sales that occur often.  I will feature another dress from their shop next week!

Cold front!

Today we encountered a cold front that I was not expecting at all!  It gave me an excuse to wear my heavy tights with my sweater dress.  I also got bored so I played with my hair by just pulling back pieces with bobby pins.  As far as shoes, I wore some faux-leather heels that I got on sale at Off Broadway Shoes.

Hello, Fall!

It has been pretty chilly lately!  I figured I would do an outfit for fall weather today because I love it so very muchly!  I wore a dress that I have had forever paired with some HUE tights in aqua.  I also wore boots by Diba and a Saint James red coat with fish as buttons! :)  Hope you enjoy!

Go Pink for October!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month!  I decided to paint my nails pink in honor of it :)  Check out my sister's blog for amazing nails!
Today I decided to wear a simple, but functional outfit.  It consists of a plain white tank top with a paisley designed skirt.  I'm also wearing my Rocket Dog weaved flats.  The hair clips are free courtesy of ModCloth.com and my necklace is also from ModCloth.com.  I hope you like the outfit! :)
Side note: I'll probably try to do an outfit at least once a week considering the fact that it's basically fall and that means the weather is going to be gorgeous!  So that means tights, jackets, and more accessories!

Last Hurrah Sale!

One of my favorite online stores to shop from is ModCloth.com.  Currently they're having a "Last Hurrah Sale" with items 70% off the original price!  Of course I had to pounce on the situation!  This barely ever happens.  I'm still trying not to spend too much money, so I ended up spending $32.97 plus $7.00 shipping which amounted to $39.97!  The original price with all of my items together would have been $111.97.  That means I saved $72!  I don't know about you, but I call THAT a sale!

Interested in what I bought?  Here are the three items:

Prairie Song Top
Originally $29.99
Sale $8.99

The Vlog Lady Dress
Originally $67.99
Sale $19.99

Haute Hand-Me-Down Earrings
Originally $13.99
Sale $3.99

Longer Lengths!

Okay, I'm totally in love with longer dresses at the current moment.  I'm also really interested in the 1940's shirt-dress.  I bought one off of etsy.com recently and I absolutely adore it!  It has a nice red color with purple flowers adorned on it.  The dresses that are long in length and are loose and flowy have won me over by far.

New Horizons

Okay, so I cut my hair back in March and I've been a bad blogger for not posting since February.  I believe that since it is summer time I have more time to actually post!  I miss blogging, so here goes nothing!

Oktomat here I come!

Hello pretty Oktomat!  Soon to be mine! :D
Okay, so this beauty takes 8 snaps on ONE negative.  It uses 35mm film: benefit for being developed anywhere.  And come on, who doesn't want a mini-movie?  This is the Oktomat:

Here are some sample pictures that have been taken using this plastic camera:

Pretty cool, right?

Indigo - Zoya swatch

This is Zoya's "Indigo."  You can get this nail polish at www.zoya.com.  I love this color!  I got it as one of my three free Zoyas and I will definitely be buying more from Zoya.
I used 2 coats and Seche Vite as my topcoat.
It's a nice dark navy blue that shimmers in the sunlight.  The little sparkles are to die for.

Oh and did I mention these polishes of Zoya are vegan? ;)

Photo 365

This is a video of 2010!  I took up the project "Photo 365" where you take a photograph a day for a whole entire year.  I finally made it and I'm looking forward to continuing with another project for 2011!
